Engage Your Senses with Tea Time in Cayman’s Pom-azing White Tea!

When it comes to food and drinks, taste is the first thing we all would say is the deciding factor on whether or not we will continue to eat or drink a particular item. We are people driven by pleasure and if something doesn’t taste good and or make us feel good, we won’t regularly consume the product in our free will.

There are special cases, such as most health products, that some of us just suck it up and take them in order to obtain the benefits of whatever those health products have to offer. There are even some cases that we eat a food that doesn’t taste that great because it brings back a special memory, or even smells good. Yet, for the majority of us, if a food or drink doesn’t taste good, we won’t eat or drink it.

Now, what if I were to to tell you that there was a health drink that not only was good for you, but also tasted good and smelled good? What if I introduced you to a natural, organic tea that not only is known to have some of the highest antioxidants, antibacterial, and antiviral properties and content in comparison to other teas but also smells like flowers and tastes like fruit?

Well you are in luck, because Tea Time in Cayman’s Pom-azing  tea meets all those criteria and more.

It’s Just Good For You

Pom-azing is a fragrant, white tea adorned with fruits and may provide many health benefits. Since white tea is only harvested a few days every year, it has one of the highest antioxidant levels of all teas. Further to that, Tea Time notes on the tea packet itself that according to the Health Science Institute, the schizandra berries in Pom-azing help detoxify the body and also improve mental clarity. Also found in the tea is hibiscus (which has been known to possibly reduce blood pressure and cholesterol), other flowers such as safflower and rose hips and essential oils which have been praised for their aromatic and medicinal properties (I have much more to tell you on Essential Oils – look out for another blog post on it this week!).

So YES, this tea is very good for your body and mind, BUT it is also great for your sense of taste and smell.

Yep, It Also Smells and Tastes Good (To Me At least)

When Kelli gave me Pom-azing, the way she described it made me want to drink a cup right there and then. With a huge smile, she shared how light and refreshing the tea was, and how great the flavor was. So, I decided to try the tea that day and when I did, not only did the tea taste fruity, refreshing and light, it smelled amazing. The smell of hibiscus and pomegranates instantly calmed me and refreshed my mind. The aromatic nature of the tea drew me in each time I drank it, and never failed to relax me, refresh me, and confirm to me how awesome Tea Time’s teas really are.

To test my experience and theory on how amazing this tea was, I had a group of friends over one night and asked them if they would sample the tea for me and give me their thoughts around how it tasted and smelled.

It Also Tastes and Smells Good to Others (Well, Mostly)

Let’s just start by saying how all of the women adored it. They made comments about how it smelled like hibiscus (not knowing it was in there), flowers and fruits, and how it tasted strong, but refreshing. Some of the ladies enjoyed it without sweetener (that’s how I prefer most teas), and some enjoyed it with raw, organic honey.

The men now (well, mainly husband who really isn’t a tea drinker), said that the tea tasted way better with some raw, organic honey. Now, that goes to say that if you aren’t a regular tea drinker who drinks tea with only a little or no sweetener, this tea may hit your taste buds by surprise. Since it’s a white tea, it’s potent and strong. So if you do enjoy sweeter teas, I recommend adding some raw, organic honey (which has an array of awesome health benefits by the way) to sweeten it up a bit.

Go, Make Your Taste Buds and Sense of Smell Happy

Regardless of your preference for sweet or non-sweet teas, or even if you are or aren’t a tea drinker, Tea Time in Cayman’s Pom-azing tea is worth trying. Not only may you reap some great health benefits, but your taste buds and sense of smell will be so happy and pleasurable that you will want to willingly consume, more regularly than not. And say by chance, you don’t like the tea – just let me know, I’ll willingly drink it for you because to me, it just tastes and smells pom-amazing.
