How Toxins Really Impact Your Health

Welcome to the seventy-fifth episode of the Healthy Body Podcast!

My name is Brianna Wilkerson from Made Well, holistic coaching practice designed to empower others to be healthy and thrive in all areas of their lives.

I am a Holistic Health and Life Coach, Essential Oils Advocate, and a Crossfit-Level 1 Trainer with a heart to empower working women to overcome yo-yo dieting, honor their bodies and get a healthy body they love and are proud of. I love seeing women care for their bodies through proper nutrition, consistent exercise, managing stress, sleeping well, digesting foods well, reducing their toxic load, caring for their mindset and habits. However, because I truly believe that your entire life impacts your physical health and vice versa, I also help women be healthy and thrive in their emotional, mental, spiritual, relational, financial and vocational health.

I also love empowering working women to use non-toxic solutions like essential oils for their health and those they love!

It is my absolute delight and pleasure to bring you this podcast and share with you all my heart and soul around truly being healthy and thriving in all areas of your life!

Today on this episode, I’m joined by Lara Adler all about how toxins really impact your health and how you can reduce your exposure to them and up your detox ability!

Lara Adler is an Environmental Toxins Expert & Educator and a Certified Holistic Health Coach who teaches health professionals about the links between environmental chemicals and chronic health issues- from weight gain and diabetes, to thyroid disease and infertility – so they can better support their clients and patients. She takes a practical, real world approach to dealing with toxins that is informative, accessible, and actionable. Lara also guides her students on how to seamlessly integrate this topic into their practices and to leverage their education to distinguish their work in their fields.

She’s taught thousands of allied health practitioners like health coaches, nutritionists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and women’s health experts, from more than 20 countries around the world in her online courses.

In this episode, you will learn about:

  • How Lara’s passion for wellness from an early age led her to become a health coach
  • How working with clients led her to research resistance weight loss, which eventually led her to the environmental toxins field
  • How researching safe products for her soon-to-be niece solidified her calling to teach health and wellness professionals more about toxins and their subtle and profound impact on our health
  • The link between chronic / acute health issues and toxins in our environment
  • Definition of toxins – acute, small levels of exposure every day
  • 8 steps to increase your body’s detoxification abilities and to decrease your toxin exposure
