How my Health Coaching Programs Will Now Focus on Christian Women

For those that don’t know, my faith has played a huge role in my health journey and in the foundations/starting of my health coaching business.

As I shared in the first episode of my podcast, the name “Made Well” actually comes from a Bible verse in John 5 where Jesus goes to a man sitting by a bath of healing waters, hoping someone would carry him in the waters, and Jesus asks the man “Do you want to be made well?”

And this very question is what I felt God asking me back in June 2013 – do I want to be made well, once and for all and in every area of my health and life – starting with my physical health?

And I said YES.

And from there, I went on a journey of finding food freedom, appreciation of my body, losing weight, and started to care for my health holistically – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, mental, financial, vocational and relational- one area at a time.

But what was fundamental for me, was that a program I went through was a Christian weight loss program called First Place 4 Health that focused on four main areas of health and loving God with your body (physical health), mind (mental health), heart (emotional health), and soul (spiritual health).

And by focusing on all these four areas – and not just “losing weight” or “eating right,” I started to find healing, wholeness, and desire to care for my body and to do it well.

And then after doing the Whole30, I knew I was called to share all my experiences with other women.

However, at the time, although I infused my faith into what I did and when I worked with clients 1:1, it wasn’t the main part of the work I did.

But as I reflect on my clients, who they are, their experiences, and where they want to grow I see that they also desire to be healthy and well in more than just their physical health, but their whole lives.

So, I’ve decided to focus my coaching practice on “helping Christian women ditch diets, lose weight, and thrive in their whole lives.”

I will still focus a lot of my coaching business on the physical health part but will start to infuse content around other areas of health and life to support women in their mind, emotions, spirit, finances, relationships, and callings.

So what does this all mean? Here is a bit more on that:

1. Combining my coaching & ministry FB groups into one

I’ve had 3 different groups to support women in their health and spiritual life, but I’m combining them all into one – the Healthy and Thriving Christian Women.

This is the social media platform and space where I will show up the most and offer a lot of support on your health journey, so if you are down to get support in your whole health from a christian perspective, please join us in the Healthy and Thriving Christian Women Community >>HERE<<.

2. Keeping my essential oils group seperate

Because essential oils are a bit different than the coaching work I do, I will keep my essential oils group seperate and continue to host classes and continuing education around the oils. You can join the Essential Oils for a Healthy Body Group >>HERE<<.

3. Sharing coaching content on holistic health

In my coaching newsletters + blog, you will start to see content on other areas of health ( mind, emotions, spirit, finances, relationships and callings), but still tons of content on caring for your body. Sign up for my coaching newsletter >>HERE<<.

4. Will continue to share essential oils content as well

In my essential oils newsletters, you will still see essential oils based content. You can sign up for that newsletter >>HERE<<.

5. My 1:1 coaching work will be holistic in nature

Although I have infused a holistic approach to my coaching, it will have more elements of that. So if you are interested in getting support not just in your physical health goals, but other areas of your life, book a complimentary clarity call and we can talk about what that means!

What does this mean for you?

Well, I would LOVE for you to still be apart of my mailing list and insiders community! But if for any reason, you feel that it may not be a great fit for you, no problem at all 🙂

However, if you do feel like it’s the right fit, I would love to continue to journey with you here on my blog, podcast, FB group, mailing list and/or as a 1:1 client!

Again, it’s been a privilege to journey with you and I pray to continue to do so in the months to come 🙂 Leave a comment if you have any questions or if this new shift resonates with you!
