5 Ways to Boost Your Immune System in This Season

I haven’t spoken much about the Corona Virus on social media or engaged too much in the news on it, but I do know it’s something we all should be cautious about – but not let worry or fear take over.

I’m not here to bring you another article about all the ways it could impact you, I think there’s a lot of articles out there already on that.

But I did want to stop by to share 5 simple ways to boost your immune system in this season, so it can be strong and prepared to fight anything that comes it’s way.

1. Wash your hands – The reality is, we use our hands for so many things and it’s one of the quickest ways to transfer germs into our body. Wash your hands before eating, whenever you touch a public surface and just as often as you can – without overdoing it.

2. Use essential oils – doTERRA’s essential oils have been my go-to to boost my immune system for the last 4 years. In fact, On Guard (the protective, immune-boosting blend) was one of the first oils I started using and got me hooked on essential oils. Oils such as On Guard, Oregano, Melissa, Black Pepper, Lemon, Clove and much more can help you at this time.

Check out the On Guard Products below as well as the Immune Support Kit doTERRA has put together for its customers to get an idea of what oils can help you in this season.

3. Stress Less and Sleep More: Stress only aggravates and weakens your immune system even more, so avoid getting worked up about things and try your best to manage your stress as it comes. Also, sleep is your body’s KEY way of restoring itself. Try to get some more ZZZ’s than normal in this time.

4. Eat well and Move: What you eat and drink does impact your immune system. Fill your plate with tons of whole foods – veggies, fruits, good fats, lean/quality meats, kombucha, and other nutritious foods. Avoid tons of sugar, it feeds on our bad bacteria and puts our immune system into overtime. Also, movement is good! It helps your body regulate itself, get rid of things stored in your body, clears your mind, and makes you feel better.

5. Don’t let fear win: I believe in being cautious and taking the necessary precautions, but not letting fear win or takeover. Don’t let fear keep you from living your life. Say nowhere your gut says to, but otherwise, carry on your life as normal but practice some immune-boosting practices along the way.

Overall sister, do your best to take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually in this season. Let the peace of God rule your hearts and don’t be anxious about anything, but present it to God in prayer and trust.

I would love to hear from you!
